PT Indo Artha Marine has successfully delivered and inaugurated an advanced Damage Control Simulator (DCS), reinforcing Indonesia’s naval training capabilities and showcasing the company’s expertise in integrated maritime defense solutions. The facility was officially inaugurated on 29 January 2026 and is located at Kolat Koarmada I TNI AL, where it will serve as a dedicated center for high-intensity emergency-response training.
Developed to support comprehensive preparation for naval personnel, the Damage Control Simulator enables realistic training in handling critical situations onboard warships. The simulator recreates operational scenarios such as onboard fires, flooding, system failures, and other emergency conditions that demand rapid decision-making and coordinated teamwork. Through immersive, hands-on exercises, trainees build the skills and confidence required to operate effectively under pressure.
Designed with a strong emphasis on realism and operational relevance, the DCS mirrors the internal layout and conditions of modern naval vessels. Trainees are required to apply standard operating procedures, communicate efficiently, and execute damage-control actions in real time—ensuring that lessons learned in simulation translate directly to real-world shipboard operations.
The successful completion and commissioning of this project reflect PT Indo Artha Marine’s capability in managing complex defense programs—from system design and engineering to construction, integration, testing, and commissioning. Close coordination with stakeholders ensured that the simulator meets stringent operational, safety, and training standards expected in a modern naval environment.
Beyond its function as a training facility, the Damage Control Simulator represents a strategic investment in human capital. By enhancing the competence, discipline, and readiness of naval personnel, the simulator contributes to safer operations, improved mission effectiveness, and stronger maritime security.
As a flagship achievement inaugurated on 29 January 2026 at Kolat Koarmada I TNI AL, the Damage Control Simulator underscores PT Indo Artha Marine’s long-term commitment to supporting national maritime resilience through reliable, innovative, and high-quality defense solutions—further positioning the company as a trusted partner in advanced naval training infrastructure.
