PT Indo Artha Marine once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s maritime defense by successfully conducting a functional test of naval guns for the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla RI).
This functional test was part of a multi-year procurement contract under the 2022–2023 fiscal year. The naval gun system is designed to enhance the safety of Bakamla personnel during patrol missions across Indonesia’s strategic and vulnerable maritime zones.
The Head of Facilities and Infrastructure Bureau of Bakamla RI, First Admiral Rudi Parulian Simorangkir, stated that this procurement is a significant step toward enhancing the agency’s maritime patrol capabilities. “This weapon system is intended to ensure the personal safety of Bakamla RI personnel while securing Indonesia’s seas during patrol operations,” he explained.
PT Indo Artha Marine delivered outstanding performance from the planning and technical integration stages through to the final on-site testing. With support from a certified technical team and extensive experience in maritime defense procurement, the functional test was conducted successfully and the system is now declared operationally ready.
